I am a retired Glass Artist living in Shropshire and have been creating original hand made kiln fired glass designs for a number of years. Using a wide range of vibrant coloured Art Glass, I produce unique and beautiful glass items for the home and stunning Dichroic glass jewellery with solid hallmarked Sterling Silver findings.

I became inspired to work with glass whilst following a City and Guilds Design for Creative Studies course at Westhope Craft College in Shropshire where I was awarded their Westhope Certificate with 'Distinction'.  I was also awarded the college Challenge Salver for the student showing the greatest progess in the year 2007-2008.  My work has been accepted by the Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft of which I was a member for a number of years.

I have trained with Warm Glass in Somerset, Steve Robinson in St Davids and Jane Ballard in Leominster.  I draw my influence from all that nature has to offer in the beautiful Shropshire countryside around me, often collaborating with my husband, Roy Abbott Artist Blacksmith  to create designs in both kiln fired hand made glass and hand forged metalwork.  

​In 2018 Roy and I were honoured to be Guest Artists at Church Stretton Arts Festival - our 'swan song', as this was our final major exhibition prior to retirement in 2021.  I do however continue to have a display cabinet at the Willow Gallery in Oswestry and exhibit a few items at the Church Stretton Arts Festival.
